In his welcome address at the programme, the Pastor in charge of the Province, Pastor Amos Ayodele Ajisola, said the Church believes that when they empower their members especially widows, they are contributing to the improvement of their standard of living. He said they also believe that the Church is fulfilling her obligation to decrease unemployment in the society. He enjoined the widows to use the machines for the purpose in which it was given to them as he prayed and handed over the machines to the recipients.
In his statement, Pastor Matthew Aiyedun, the Assistant Pastor in-charge of Province (CSR) congratulated the recipients for being fortunate to be one of those selected to benefit from the scheme. He encouraged them to be good ambassadors of the Province.
The former National Elder in charge of The RCCG, Lagos Province 3, Pastor Abiodun Tawede commended the leadership of The RCCG, Lagos Province 7 and the CSR board for touching the hearts of the widows by giving them what they willingly requested for. He mentioned that this was the first time such is done in the Province as he made a donation to the purse of The RCCG Lagos Provinces CSR Board.
The occasion was witnessed by Lagos Province 7 CSR board members, families of the recipients and Pastors in-charge of Parishes.
