It’s that month of the year when the entire family of the Redeemed Christian Church of God celebrates the Disciples’ Convention and the birthday of our revered Mother-in-Israel, Pastor (Mrs.) Foluke Adeboye. This year, the theme for the month of July is “Let there be Light – Part 7”.
The significance of the number 7 is heightened by the global situation of the lockdown in virtually every sphere of life and the cry to God to unlock the world by His mercy for the sake of the saints.
We celebrate with all Disciples on this occasion and we pray that God will empower us the more, and fill us with greater zeal for greater works and passion for the kingdom assignment in our hands.
To our beloved Mummy, we felicitate with you as you mark age 72. As you increase in age, so will God increase you in strength, power and in grace in Jesus name. We use this opportunity of our Mummy’s Birthday to do a spotlight on one of her pet projects, the Habitation of Hope. In addition to doing a historical run on the institution, we have some of the boys speak on the change they have experienced.
One of the exceptional blessings of the lockdown is the set of powerful messages freshly delivered every Sunday by our Daddy, Pastor E. A. Adeboye.
In one of the messages, he spoke on “All things work together for good.” We feature this sermon with emphasis on People made great in lockdowns. You will be greatly blessed by this and other life-building articles and testimonies in this edition.
