New Season, new things

June 29, 2018
In the atmosphere of Halleluyah, this event calls for praise and honour to the Lord who has kept this couple, raising them up as His representatives and as solutions to people’s problems all over the world. We thank God for making us part of the fruits of this unique union.

It’s a new season everywhere in the Redeemed world as the RCCG’s new year began on Friday September 1, 2017. The new Redeemed year began with the Holy Ghost Service holding and that speaks volumes about the wonders the year holds.

Considering the amazing experience we had with God at the Halleluyah Convention and the overflowing blessings, the new year promises to deliver to everyone what will make us sing praises to God all the time. Psalm 68:19 assures us of God’s daily loading of His people with benefits.

Talking about the Convention brings pictures of the unceasing flow of people into the Camp days before the programme began. One after the other, people gathered until almost every space in the Redemption Camp got occupied. The Ministers Conference was powerful; the 2-day prayer-walk built into it became some unforgettable experience for many ministers.

With the Convention proper and the ordination, the Bible College graduation and the various Group and Plenary sessions; there was no dull moment throughout the 7-day event. In the kitchen, cows were “dying” daily in their thousand, no thanks to the butchers’ knives. Everywhere in the Camp was busy.

The auditoria, old and new, probably never received as many people before. Facilities were overstretched but God was present to help out with human and vehicular controls. The ministrations were powerful and God bore witness to His word with salvation, healing, and diverse miracles following.

In this edition of your magazine, we present in part, the story of the 65th Annual Convention which took place on 7th – 13th August, 2017.

On Friday September 8, 2017, a major event will be marked in the family of our esteemed parents, Pastor Enoch Adejare and Pastor (Mrs.) Foluke Adenike Adeboye as their marriage turns 50 years.

In the atmosphere of Halleluyah, this event calls for praise and honour to the Lord who has kept this couple, raising them up as His representatives and as solutions to people’s problems all over the world. We thank God for making us part of the fruits of this unique union.

We congratulate Daddy and Mummy and we rejoice with their biological family on this occasion. We join millions of Redeemites all over the world to say, Happy Wedding Anniversary and we pray for renewed strength and multiplied grace for the years ahead.

Apart from the reports on these two events, this edition has a lot of goodies for every reader. In a prophetic sermon, Pastor E. A. Adeboye declares “It’s your turn to laugh.” We also report some of the promotions and transfers across Regions and provinces. Other regular teachings and features are available to enhance your life and keep you informed.

Shalom.
