Pastor Obayemi during the flag-off explained that motorists entering the Redemption Camp will undergo checks at the main entrance and an identification tag given to motorists. He thanked the General Overseer of the mission, Pastor E.A Adeboye, The Nigerian Police (Redemption Camp unit), health officials and all security apparatus for making the day a reality.
The Assistant General Overseer, Administration and Personnel, Pastor J.F Odesola who was among Senior Pastors that grace the event told the gathering that obedience to the order is expedient from members of the Church.
Speaking on penalties and how the order can be sustained, the Director, RCCG Administration and Personnel, Pastor Rotimi Adegborioye explained that defaulters will pay 5,000 naira, if the tag gets lost.
Governing Council Member, Pastor David Kuo, thanked Pastor E.A Adeboye for supporting the noble idea and prayed that it shall be well with the Church.
In his own view, the Vice Chairman CRM, Pastor Peter Adeyemi who gave credence to the need to make security a daily routine for all worshippers thanked the Church for taking the bull by the horn.
In another development, RCCG National Elder, Pastor Tunji Onileaja thanked the Almighty God that no member was infected with the Coronavirus at the Redemption Camp and says that God will continue to protect His own. Members of the Governing Council, elders in the mission, Security Chiefs and camp dwellers witnessed the event.
