A free Holiday Coaching School was organized at Felele, with over 100 students while 62.5% of the beneficiaries were non RCCG members of the community including non-Christians.
  • Hardly did many understand that the prophetic narration of Jesus Christ as to what would happen at the end of the age made Him the Originator of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). In Matthew 25:33-46, Jesus explained, that on the last day, anyone who cares for the needy, those in prison, orphans, etc, shall be on His right hand and also inherit the kingdom of God. It is in view of this, that the RCCG Oyo Province 1 went all-out to boosts community development by giving back to it generously. These impactful works specifically addressed peoples’ needs, lessen the burden of economic recession and expanded God’s kingdom on earth.

  • The Province Sisters led by the indefatigable wife of the PICP, Pastor (Mrs.) Funmi Amure, were in the forefront during their Annual Convention, held at Odo-Oba/Idi-Ope Communities in Ibadan, Oyo State. Their CSR activities included a medical outreach with 359 beneficiaries who were mostly non-Christians, distribution of food and clothing and the planting of a new parish; RCCG King’s Business Parish, Odo-Oba, with Bayo Fabusuyi as Pastor-in-Charge. Eighty-five (85) people gave their lives to Jesus Christ.

  • Another step taken by the Province CSR, was special donation of #20,000:00 by the PICP, Pastor M.A Amure, to the orphans at King’s Kids of Galilee Foundation, Aba-Oba Ibira, New Adeoyo Hospital area, Ibadan. Not only were the beneficiaries grateful to the RCCG, it was abundantly clear to them, that indeed, God is the Father of the fatherless (Psalm 68:5).

  • Next in boosting community development was the over One million naira (1,000,000:00) water project (Borehole) commissioned of by the PICP, Pastor M.A Amure, for the use of Anfaani Community and its environs.
  • Still pressing forward in Good Samaritan works was the CSR-supported visit to Agodi Prison, under the joint–auspices of the Province Prison & Hospital Ministry and Prayer Hall Women. Led by the Province Coordinator, Pastor Ademolu Joseph, the prison inmates (males and females) benefitted from the evangelical visit (financially & spiritually) with various items of daily use donated to them. Eighteen (18) souls were saved.
