You too can upgrade and place yourself in a vantage position. There are positions that require a minimum of Master’s degree qualification.
There is something better than Master’s Degree. When some put PhD, an appendage after his or her name, it is not an out of the reach achievement. It is achievable. You can have a PhD degree. Again, there are exclusive positions that require a PhD degree qualification.
What is your level in life spiritually? You can have something better.
What is your mental capacity? You can have something better.
What is your economic strength? You can have something better.
What is your marital status? You can have something better.
What is the numerical strength of your congregation? You can have something better.
What is the commitment level of your workers or staff? You can have something better.
What is your tithe and offering level? You can do something better.
What is your obedience level? You can do something better.
There is never an end to success in life and ministry. There is room, enough room to have something better. Do not limit yourself. There are more heights to scale and more territories to conquer. You can blaze out from obscurity. You can overcome mountains and cross rivers of limitation.
There is something better. You can walk instead of crawling.
There is something better. You can run instead of walking.
There is something better. You can fly instead of running.
There is something better. You can soar instead of flying.
‘And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them’- Acts 3:5.
Peter and John stood before the lame man at the gate of the temple. He got their attention by asking for money. They stood before him as he eagerly looked at them with expectation. He expected to receive something he used to receive daily. They were going to give him something but not money. They were going to give him something better. There is always something better dearly beloved.
‘Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk’- Acts 3:6.
They gave him something more than silver and gold. They gave him something more precious than silver, more costly than gold and more beautiful than diamond. Oh dear, there is something better than silver, gold and diamond.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. This is the better and best of all we ever need in this world. J-E-S-U-S! There is something about that name:
He is the Alpha and Omega
He is the beginning and the end
He is the bread of heaven
He is the Lion of the tribe of Judah
He is the root of David
He is the rod of Jesse
He is the bright and morning star
He is the captain of our salvation
He is the door to the sheepfold
He is the eternal rock of ages
He is the fountain of life.
He is the finger of God
He is the new wine
He is the oil of gladness
He is the prince of peace
He is the lily of the valley
He is the rose of Sharon
He is the ark of the new covenant
He if the good shepherd
He is the high and lofty one
He is the King of kings
He is the Lord of lords
Everybody gave the lame man money, but Peter and John gave him the Name that is above all names. His life never remained the same thereafter. His miserable and pathetic condition changed. His story changed.
• He could now walk
• He was no longer a burden carried about
• He no longer sat at the beautiful gate
• He no longer begged for alms
• He could now enter the temple to worship like other people.
IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH RISE UP AND WALK!
Peter and John exercised their authorities in Christ over the ugly condition of the lame man. You too can exercise your authority in Christ. The Bible is dotted with believers who exercised their authority over principalities and powers.
‘But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name’- John1:12.
You have the power. You can cast out demons. You can heal the sick. You can raise the dead. It is not in your name or any person’s name but in the name of Jesus. You don’t have to be ordained as a minister to use the name of Jesus to change ugly situations. It is not about title or position. And it is not about how many years you have been born again.
Do you want something better? It is in the name of Jesus. I challenge you to exercise your authority in Christ over unpleasant situations in your life and the lives of others. Cheers! There is something better!
