RCCG tightens security in Redemption Camp…as iron gates give way to fence

April 25, 2020
For several people who gain easy access to Redemption Camp through Imedu-Nla gate or those who drive into Estate 11 through Pa Akindayomi way, the story is now different as the authority of the Redeemed Christian Church of God has tightened the security in Redemption  Camp to wave off intruders and ensure the safety of camp dwellers especially as the spread of COVID-19 hovers around the world.

As a result of this measure, several iron gates such as; Imedu-Nla gate, the gate on Joppa Street opposite, Rev. Josiah Akindayomi way, and some satellite gates including the gate which leads to the street that housed the popular food vendor, “Iya Ayo” opposite Car Park B have been replaced with a fence thus preventing any vehicular or pedestrian access to the camp.

With this measure in place, Redemption Camp will be free from intruders and miscreants. However, many people who use this gates as short cuts to the Camp will now have to spend extra minutes before they get to the Camp.
