Walk of Faith

June 29, 2018
In this edition of your magazine, we have lined up a number of life-enriching write-ups for your enjoyment. On the sermon page, our beloved General Overseer, Pastor E. A. Adeboye writes on Great and Mighty Seeds. On the Prayer Clinic Column, Pastor Peter Olawale continues his piece on The Language of Prayer touching on Peace, Holiness and Faith

Matthew 9:29 is a challenging statement from the Lord… “Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.” In effect, what we get from God is dependent on what we believe and trust that He will do. Living or walking the walk of faith is to trust God in all the details of living, in all situations that may be positive or negative.

It is clear that there is a link between the faith we have to live by and the level of knowledge we have about what the will of God is.

We know that faith is indispensable in living the Christian life; Heb. 11:6. We live our lives by faith Rom. 1:17 we live/walk in faith as we base our actions on belief and trust in God.

Living by faith involves take action. According to Psalm 145:17, the Lord is righteous in all His work. We can place our trust in His unchanging nature, His righteousness, and love. He will never let us down. He is able to raise us to heights we never thought possible. All we need to do is trust and obey Him.

Nothing just happened in the lives of God’s people; He has a purpose for everything that happens in the world.

This month, we celebrate 32 years since the Holy Ghost Service began. We are reminded of the diverse and awesome things which God has done over the years and the assurance of eternal life that has become the portion of many who had received the gift of salvation.

In the midst of this celebration, we look at the life of the man who has been instrumental  to these great doings of the Lord in our lives. This edition looks at “E. A. Adeboye: A walk of Faith.”

In this special edition, the sermon is titled: “Obtaining God’s best.” You will find 7 steps that will be helpful in getting the best from God.

We also feature reports on the Feast of Esthers 2018 as well as the news on the Region One Family Service with the General Overseer.

These are in addition to all our regular columns, features and articles which have been freshly packaged to bless you.
